The Airborne & Special Operations Museum chronicles the history of Army airborne and special operations, to the present day, through displays of rare artifacts like a C-47 “Skytrain” airplane. Other highlights include equipment, uniforms, weapons and a motion simulator that gives visitors a taste of what special operations soldiers experience. The museum lies just northeast of Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.

Free entry. Motion simulator and theater $4 each.
